The Ada Family Website (2000-2019)

Much of what is known about the Ada family is thanks to George Ada of Canada, who dedicated a lot of time to researching the family in the early days on the internet.

Tim Richardson (in England) was also researching the family and knew from his grandfather Arthur that there was family there.

In the early days of Google, searching was so much simpler. Around 2000 Tim googled Ada and Canada and got about 127 results and went through them one by one. The second to last result was a message from a George Ada looking to contact other members of the family.

The same search today returns 372,000,000 results.

That penultimate message was already over couple of years old, and at the time email addresses were often changed. Fortunately George got the message and in 2002 came to England with his wife Elizabeth.
